Long day, pickup at 7am and we were back around 5:30. Absolutely worth it but do not plan anything for that evening. Bring a hat, there is not much natural shade on the beach.

Lunch was a proper buffet, not the sad sandwich I was expecting. They also had vegetarian options which I had asked about beforehand and they remembered.

Better than we expected
Walking the Zona Colonial with a guide who knows the history turns it from old buildings into an actual story. First cathedral in the Americas, first street, first everything.

Solid experience
Excellent tour but a long day. Roughly three hours each way on the bus, so leave at dawn and get back late. Worth it for the history.
